Founded in 1868, Francis Kirk & Son Ltd has been actively engaged in the engineering industry since its formation. Extensive stocks coupled with the knowledge and expertise of our staff all help to ensure a fast and efficient service tailored to suit all our customers.

In 1989 Francis Kirk (Socket Screws) Ltd was incorporated into the Francis Kirk Group of Companies to service the market with premier grade Socket Screws,  manufactured by Unbrako Ltd and Holokrome Ltd. Already an ISO9001 approved distributor it has recently made a major capital commitment in order to be able to supply British Premier Grade Socket Screws & Durlok "anti-vibration" Bolts and Nuts at competitive prices.

In April  2004 the FK Group saw the completion of a £1.5 million redevelopment and expansion programme when the business moved to a 1 1/2 acre purpose built warehouse and office complex, on Denton Hall Farm Road, Denton, Manchester,  adjacent to the M60 motorway, approximately one mile from the old premises on Saxon Street.

At our new premises we have substantially extended our trade counter facility. Whilst still catering for the regular trade counter customers we have extended our product range to include full stocks of items suitable for the motor/ DIY/ Building and Home Improvement enthusiasts.

As an independent distributor our objective has always been to offer the finest quality engineering products and solutions, giving stability and security to the engineering industry.

The group offers JIT and STOCK management programmes for tools and fasteners, the total objective being to show a cost saving and build a lasting relationship with the ultimate end user.

The Francis Kirk Group of Companies supply throughout the UK, with the facility for overnight deliveries and local companies benefiting from same day deliveries.
