About Us

Founded in 1868, Francis Kirk & Son Ltd is widely acknowledged as an expert in the engineering and fastening business.  With our extensive stocks of engineering products and highly experienced and knowledgeable staff, we serve a broad range of customers both nationally and internationally.

In 1989 Francis Kirk (Socket Screws) was incorporated into the FK Group of Companies and has been a major supplier of socket screws made by Holokrome and Unbrako.  More recently, due to our ISO9001 rating, we have been appointed as the sole European supplier of Durlok anti-vibration bolts.  

We aim to stock the highest quality fastener product ranges as well as other engineering requirements from premium brands such as Draper, Dormer, Gedore, Makita, Philidas and Stanley.

Based in Denton, Manchester a modern purpose-built 24000sq foot warehouse and office complex, complete with trade counter facilities which stocks personal protective equipment, clothing and abrasives, power tools and cutting tools and fasteners is a convenient place for local trades to purchase supplies.

We are a family-orientated company where individuals are approachable and the personal touch is valued.  The combined years of experience in the small staff team runs into hundreds of years.  Our loyal and highly valued staff have regular product training from the companies we represent.
